Buying Books

Liliana stepped into Flourisha and Blotts. Perfect day for buying my books. she thought. She stepped inside and grabbed some books, including Transfiguration 101. Buying them, she sat down and started studying.

Indago walked in, hands in her pockets. She wakled past a Ravenclaw girl she believed to be Liliana, but she didn't know her very well and decided not to engage her in conversation. Her green eye that wasn't covered by her hair scanned the shelves. Why she hadn't been told to buy Transfiguration 101 before term started...

Liliana looked up and saw that Potter girl. What was her name? Indago, wasn't it? Liliana thought.

Indago slid the book from the shelf. She didn't really give a crap about the book. She felt sick to her stomach, as she often did in the mornings. Indago didn't know why either, she'd never felt that way before...

Ashley peered through the shop window and saw that it was not busy. She entered quietly. She wanted to get in and get out. After her run in with other older students on the 7th floor, she didn't trust anyone. She walked over to the shef holding the new shipments and took a copy of transfiguraiton 101 (for 2nd years). She took it to the counter and payed for it. She ran out the door and away from every one else.

Minnie was about to open the door when some young Hufflepuff girl came bowling through it. Minnie wondered what was wrong with her, but shrugged it off and entered the shop.

Indago groaned, the went and paid for the book. She really did not feel good at the moment. And she was feeling particularly edgy...

Liliana stared as the Hufflepuff kid bolted out of the shop. Then she saw Minnie. "Hi Min!" she called as she got up. She held her stomach as she walked over. It wouldn't be long before her son James was born.

Indago couldn't stop hersself. Dropping her book, she went and threw up in a trashcan. Wiping the corner of her mouth, she walked back and picked up the book she'd dropped. That was a general inconvinence.

"Hi," Minnie responded, adding a wave and striding over to Liliana. She turned towards Indago. "Uh, Indago, you okay?"

"Y-Yeah, that happens alot actually..." Indago responded, not looking Minnie in the eye. She hoped that Minnie wouldn't think less of her she found out her secret...

Minnie raised her eyebrows. If it happened a lot, how come she had never seen it before?

"Umm, I'll see you around." Indago said in a voice that clearly sounded like she was hiding something. Indago began walking towards the door, praying Minnie wouldn't corner her on her way out.

But, of course, Minnie did. "What are you hiding?" She asked.

[potterfreak14]

"Hiding? I'm not hiding anything!" Indago said in a completely inconvincing tone. She put a trembling hand on the door knob, biting her lip. She hoped Minnie wouldn't pursue the subject.
